From a single espresso machine and a dream, to a community of passionate coffee lovers.
How It All Began
BeanVault was founded in 2020 by two coffee enthusiasts who believed that every neighborhood deserves a place where exceptional coffee meets genuine community. What started as a small corner café with a second-hand roaster has grown into a beloved local brand — but our mission remains the same.
We source our beans directly from family farms across Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, and beyond. Every batch is carefully roasted in-house to bring out the unique character of each origin. We believe coffee should tell a story — from seed to cup — and we're honored to share that story with you.

Our Journey
BeanVault founded. First location opens in downtown Portland.
